B59 Lobby Monitors Content

Wang Hall (Building 59) has two monitors in each of its two lobbies located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the building.

The monitors mirror each other on each floor, so whatever is playing on the left monitor on the 3rd floor is also playing on the left monitor on the 4th floor. The same is true for the right.

At this time, the four monitors cannot be controlled individually.

CSA Comms (that’s us) keeps the monitors refreshed with videos, slides, and other relevant content.

CSA IT ([email protected]) provides technical support.

As a rule, we run a slideshow on one monitor using a deck provided by the lab and supplemented by CSA-specific slides. The other monitor usually loops videos showcasing CSA's facilities and research.

You can request that we add a slide to the deck that plays on one of the monitors by putting in a ticket at cscommshelp.lbl.gov

Typical requests include posting a “welcome” slide for VIP visitors, an announcement of a special event, or other news of interest to staff.

The comms staff may edit your slide for style and design purposes. Not all requests can be accommodated.
